Losing the Ability to Discern Spiritual Truths.

Image
Leaders who abuse and misuse the Bible...knowingly or unknowingly...and whose congregations believe the abusing illusions to be spiritual truth, can coerce from you as much as a fear-mongering robber can with a gun pointed to your head! Believing such delusions and accepting them as spiritual truth causes one to lose their ability to discern the spirit behind the delusion and the ability to discern the voice of God's appointed and anointed Teacher...The Spirit of Truth...as to what is truly spiritual truth. Do you honestly believe that God would direct His people to do something, yet, He Himself would turn around and do exactly the opposite? Do you believe that God would tell us as believers to love our enemies and do good to them that despitefully use us then He Himself do the opposite to those we consider His enemies by sending them to the torture chamber of hell fire to suffer untold punishment for ever and ever? That is exactly what is being taught by Bible abusers!

Happy Father's Day.

My Father's Legacy.  F - Faithfulness to his family A - Acceptance of his family T - Tenderness toward his family H - Honoring his family E - Eternal love for his family R - Respect for his family Fathering children does not make one a man...being a father to the children you father...or...fathering the children you don't father, makes one a man! As a Father, my father was the man....Thanks Dad, always loving and missing you.

Salvation It’s More Than Just Escaping Hell

Image
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”   (2 Corinthians 11:3) I maintain that the religious traditional view regarding salvation is not only incomplete but, is also infiltrated with corruption because of a religious mind-set. Salvation is more than escaping torture chamber of Hell and gaining bliss in heaven. Salvation is not so much for the afterlife as it is for the present life in the here-and-now. The cross of Christ provides instant forgiveness for all men...it did not provide instant fullness of salvation! The fullness of salvation is a process of TRANSFORMATION by the Spirit of God. It encompasses deliverance from sin, peace with God, and the presence of the Holy Spirit in one’s life.  Salvation is an inward change in a person’s spirit and his spiritual condition which works its way to the soul and mind of person influencing a person's living makin

Gospel Tragedy.

Image
The great tragedy of the man-run-gospel is that the event-driven-programs are so well organized they have limited church to a meeting-event that can operate void of the Spirit of God. It behooves us to stop and examine our lives to see if we have become satisfied with a form that simply uses His name as magic words in a formula rather than having an intimate love relationship with Him that gives power to His name. A relational relationship with Jesus provides the dynamic power of a Living Christ, who in reality never leaves us. The seven-day-relationship with Him has been replaced by a  Sunday-Event-Driven-Business and we are too busy preoccupied with the distractions of this man-made business to be aware of His Presence therefore, unable to move in His Power in living life. Each of us must take responsibility for our personal relationship with Christ. When He begins to take His proper place in our daily living, He ceases to be merely a event-driven-meeting God,  just a great tea

God's Favor

Image
He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. (Matthew 5:45) Some of the deceptive lies we believe are so subtle and so seductive that the truth of it being deception is hard to detect. The manipulative deception is shrouded in what people want so desperately to be true and when intertwined with Bible verses, God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and the truth of His promises misaligned to be inline with what is wanted or even needed, it is difficult to blame people for embracing the deception as truth without scrutinizing it. There are many people out there who boldly declare that they have God's favor because of their doing things that are right and don't do things that are wrong and convince those hearing them that they can have the favor of God by heeding their scriptural perverted teachings. What usually follows such teaching is glowing reports of their spiritual success, spiritual advancement, or some pe

Reconciliation.

Image
Colossians 1:15-20 reads; He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the per-eminence.  For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. This undoubtedly, unquestionably and unequivocally is the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and despite what is preached over the pulpits of denominated buildings, there is no bad news contain therein. People can bad mouth God all they want by making Him

The trial of Pastor Jones.

Image
Came across this on the net, no author cited to give the credit to. Whoever he or she was...did an excellent job! The trial of Pastor Jones. Judge: Mr. Jones you have been charged with multiple counts of extortion. Your crime spree covers 20 years and thousands of victims. You have defrauded people out of their money with fear and manipulation, telling them they had to tithe 10% of their income to your church and that God would bless them if they did. You also told them that if they didn't tithe God would curse them. How do you plead? Mr. Jones:  I plead not guilty your Honor, I have done nothing wrong. I have only preached what the Bible says. In the Bible Abraham tithed to Melchizedek and God blessed him for his faithful giving. The Bible even says he was rich in silver and gold. Judge: Is it not true, Mr. Jones, that in Genesis chapter 13 verse 2 the Bible says Abraham was rich with livestock, silver and gold? Mr. Jones: Yes, you are exactly right, that&#

Conformed or Transformed

Image
You can Conform without being Transformed...BUT...you cannot be Transformed without being Conformed!  Salvation is not a Conformation to Someone...Salvation is a Transformation by Someone. Therefore, conformation without transformation is not salvation...Salvation is transformation plus conformation. Conformation is an outward action that does not produce the inward action of transformation...Transformation is an inward action that produces the outward action of conformation. The religious gospel is about conformation not transformation...The Grace Gospel is about transformation that results in conformation. The question is, how does transformation take place? The flowing of divine life within us because of redemption...what Christ has done for us...transforms our inner man conforming us to the image of Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ is made up of living precious stones, why are they precious? Because they are as He is in the world...As Jesus was the express image

Did Christ Purchase Redemption For ALL Or Just a FEW?

Image
The scriptures state that; God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not holding men’s trespasses against them. (2 Cor. 5:19) That is the good news Gospel that needs to be brought to the people of the world. That is the great commission and the mission of those who know they are redeemed...letting the people of the world know that they have been redeemed. Jesus paid the price for their redemption on the cross, there is no other name under heaven whereby men can be saved, He is the way, the truth and the life. There will come a day, because of the Father heart of God and His love for the people He created, when ALL will bow before Him in worship. No one should feel as though they are not redeemable in His sight, no matter how bad or corrupt they are. We should be building on the foundation of the redemption of Jesus.  In religion that is not happening because of not understanding His redemptive plan. No matter how many times we sin and miss the mark, we must realize

Good News!

Image
I have GOOD NEWS for you......You cannot sin a sin that is greater the God's ability or greater than God's willingness to forgive! Furthermore...Before you committed the sin God had already forgiven you of the sin.  "How can that be" you say. On the cross...every sin that ever was committed...every sin that is being committed...every sin that will be committed...was forgiven! That means that your past, present, and future, sins were...is...and are...forgiven. He dealt with the sin problem through the cross of Christ.  The SIN ISSUE IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE WITH GOD!  It is THE problem in religion and a problem with human kind because religion has made it THE  problem. The blood of Jesus has forgiven ALL men! That does not mean that...as of yet...ALL men are saved! Nor does it mean that because all sin is forgiven that there is no such a thing as sin...there is and sin has devastating consequences. And because all men are forgiven, it does

FOUR REASONS THE EARLY CHURCH DID NOT BELIEVE "HELL" LASTS FOREVER.

FOUR REASONS THE EARLY CHURCH DID NOT BELIEVE "HELL" LASTS FOREVER.  By Richard Murray March 15, 2014 at 6:33pm Today, many people disagree on how guilty criminals should be treated. Is the purpose of punishment, the argument goes, to rehabilitate the criminal by reforming his character? Or, rather, is the purpose of punishment to inflict eye-for-an-eye retaliation on the wrongdoer? Put another way, is our motive for punishment revenge or rescue? This same analysis can be applied to God's purpose for Hell. Is God's motive in allowing sinners to go to Hell a form of "revenge" upon the sinner, or is God's motive rather to ultimately "rescue" the sinner from his own fallen nature? Which purpose better aligns with the nature of God revealed in Jesus Christ? Well, the majority of the early Church believed that Hell was place where God would rescue, reform and reconcile all lost sinners back unto Himself. The process of Hel
