The Extortionist.

Extortion: The obtaining of property from another induced by wrongful use of actual or threatened force, violence, or fear, or under color of official right.

Preachers who extort money from God’s children under the pretense that they are giving to God when they give to the cause are manipulating manipulators will one day answer for their deceptive tactics.

Malachi 3:6-10 is NOT a commandment for New Covenant Believers to give 10% of their income, as the fear-mongering money-grabbers wrongly preach.

Text taken out of context is a pre-text to deceptive text because the text is taken out of its historical and contextual context.

According to Malachi 2:1' who is God talking to in Malachi 3:6-10? THE PRIESTS..."This commandment IS TO YOU, oh Priests."

And who was to bring the tithe into the temple? THE PRIESTS, not the people in the congregation.

Nehemiah 10:38 - "And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house."

Preachers today stand behind denominated pulpits and TV screens, and preach sermons that are meant to extort money from denominated followers have no official Biblical right to do so.

They validate such extortion by a misinterpretation of Malachi 3:8-10…. “Will A Man Rob God?”

Many a pastor have the congregation open their Bibles to Malachi 3:8-10 and read the passage that chapter 1 reveals was directed to the children of Israel. They then wrongfully bring the directive directed to Israel out of Israel and into the denominated churches in their city or town in their own country. Such misuse is amuse of scripture!

Preachers of every denomination accuse people of “robbing God” if they are not bringing 10% of their income to the storehouse of God. They then put the fear of God into the people by the fear-mongering accusation that God will get them if they do not tithe from their money by saying that they are under the curse of God and He will attack their finances, their families, their health, their jobs, etc..

People of God, that tactic is nothing less than extortion by religious extortionists. They are trying to instill fear of God into your mind, and make Him out to be a monster of retribution, if you don’t get protected by tithing10% of your income to God! Don't believe such deceptive uses of scripture...that is extortion through and through.

Preachers preach tithing “under color of official Biblical right,” that it is God’s tithe. But if one studies out the context contextually and historically, one will discover that denominations have no “official Biblical right” to collect a tithe from the saints of God.

The Old Testament tithe was limited to within the boundaries of national Israel and was to be given to the Levitical priesthood. It was never authorized to New Covenant people. God’s tithe was also never money according to Leviticus 27 and Numbers 18.

Preachers who are guilty of extorting money from the pew-warmers are Extortioners! They one day will answer to God for handling the scriptures deceptively and oppressing His people with fear tactics under the guise of being biblically right.

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that we are to give as we purpose in our own hearts to give. How is a mandatory tithe purposing in one’s own heart what to give if he is giving 10% because his denomination requires it?

2 Corinthians 9:7...Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.

The word “purpose” is translated from the Greek word “proaireomai”, and it means “to choose for oneself”. A denominated preacher has no "biblical" or “official right” to tell the congregation to give 10% of their money to a denominational institution. Scripture tells the congregation to “choose for oneself” what one wants to give. God did not tell any pastor to preach to the congregation that they must tithe their money...nor did he tell that pastor that the congregation would be cursed if they didn’t tithe their money, that is fear-mongering MANIPULATION and SPIRITUAL ABUSE by RELIGIOUS EXTORTIONERS!
