What Is Your God Like?

Some people who name the name of Christ and claim to be His followers say that tsunamis, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes and terrorism is God's way of punishing cities and its people for their sin. Then they use these disasters they accuse God of bringing to raise money to help alleviate the people's adverse circumstance and perchance gain some of the people that flock to the segregated buildings to join their membership. Some have gone so far as to say that if God doesn't bring judgement on United States of America because of Obama, He will not be a JUST God. The audacity of such people bewilders me!

I must be deluded and dunmmified...I was under the impression that God's remedy for sin was Jesus...the Cross...and His resurrection...not causing catastrophic disasters that kill men, women and children that He created because of His love and sent His only begotten Son to die for, and as they believe, the majority that God killed in the disaster are gone to eternal punishment in an everlasting hell. Wow! What a loving and caring God they believe in. and what "Good News Gospel" they preach. Then they wonder why the people that they have fear-mongered to come out to "Church" by such teaching, to appease the wrathful, revengeful and hateful God, during such events, do not stay long enough to sign their membership forms. They fail to understand that they are driving people away from God by presenting Him has such a monster.
 To accuse God of using natural disasters to judge cities and nations for their sinning, collaborates their believing that Christ's work on the cross was insufficient, incomplete and unfinished as a remedy for sin and man needs to do the doings in order to help Him finish it. You know what, if God did such cowardly acts I would believe the same way.

But I thank God that Christ's work on the cross was sufficient...complete...and lovingly finished, there is NOTHING left for man to do regarding his salvation or the maintaining of it, in fact there is no sinning that man can do to make God love him less than He loves the people who accuse Him of being so cowardly...yes, he still loves these poor misguided souls that accuse Him of such ungodly acts.

God completely dealt with the sin issues through Jesus, though sin has destructive ramification...sin does not lead to a smiting on the head with a holy stick by a revengeful God. Believe it or not...GOD IS DONE WITH SIN, SIN IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE WITH GOD! 1 Peter 4:1 confirms that GOD IS DONE WITH SIN, Is. 53:5 confirms that the PUNISHMENT that brought us peace was upon Him.

God's remedy for sin is NOT natural disasters, terrorism or the killing of people...It is Jesus, His cross and resurrection!

JESUS IS NOT IN THE PUNISHMENT OR KILLING BUSINESS...NEITHER IS GOD! GOD ID A GOOD GOD...WHETHER HIS ACCUSERS BELIEVE IT OR NOT!

  1. Is God just a loving God as false grace teaches today? Lets let the true grace teacher Paul tell us what kind of God he is.

    2 Thessalonians 1:5-10King James Version (KJV)

    5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

    6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

    7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

    8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

    9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

    10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

    This is the true grace message that Paul preached.
