Is The Church You Belong To In The Bible?

Is your denomination found in scripture?
Is your denomination sanctioned by Christ?
Is your denominational doctrine the doctrine of Christ?
Are your churches denominational rules and regulations Christ initiated?
Are your denominational Sunday-go-man-led-event-driven-meetings initiated by Christ?
Is the segregated denominated building you call “Church” the Church Christ established?

Are these not legitimate questions every believer should ask themselves regarding the religious institution they identify with?

If the answer is no to the above questions, isn’t what you are partaking in, error and not truth?

So is your name-tagged denomination in the Bible?

Whether you search for Baptist...Pentecostal...Methodist...Anglican...Lutheran...Roman Catholic...Presbyterian...Brethren...Seventh-Day Adventist...Independent...Non-Denominational...or any of the other thousands that exist, not one is found in scripture or approved by God.

Should believers give their allegiance to something that is not God ordained and is an hindrance to the plan and purpose He ordained for the Church that Jesus said that He would build?

Does the fact that the denomination you are devoted to is not found in scripture cause you to question and wonder as to  how and why such entities exist?

“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him (Col. 3:18). Is that happening in what you have accepted as Church?

“If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God (1 Pet. 4:11). Is that evident in your denomination?

Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides int he doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him...(2 John 9-11). Are denominational doctrines Christ's doctrines?

Isn’t it time as believers to evaluate...who we are...what we do...why we do what we do...how we do what we do...and...where we do what we do and discard anything that is not found in the teachings of Christ, is not Christ centered, is not Christ honoring or is not Christ loving, ?
