The Human Mind, we are what we Think.
The greatest storage memory bank known to mankind is the human mind. It is far ahead of any memory computer chip that is or ever will be. But like a computer memory chip our mind is programmable.
From our time of birth our mind is being programed by our parents, our environment our religion and our likes and dislikes. If our minds have been programed by misunderstood or misinformed input data as the correct data and process our thinking and understanding of what enters our eye-gate and ear-gate as being truth, live our life as if it is truth and try to convince others that it is truth even though it is untruth!
Is it possible that as a result of giving our minds over to the wrong data input we have accepted what is thought, promoted, feels and preached as the gospel as the true gospel when actually we may be upholding a false gospel?
Our minds are a product of what we feed them and what we feed them we develop a insatiable appetite for, either good or bad, false or true. The sad part is that the false data that is programed by the giving of our minds over to it as now, to us, become truth.
The mind control question is...is our mind NOW controlled by the TRUTH or THE FALSE? Who has our mind NOW...the evil one or God?
If our minds are controlled by men, even men of the cloth and the information they provided was wrong because of their misunderstood misunderstanding we are BRAINWASHED into believing a lie.
The religious system is based on “mind control.” They have taken over the mind of its adherents by feeding them data that the input devices (their teachers) have programed into them and if the input data was not truth the adherents have fully accepted the deception as truth.
What do you think believer? Is it possible that our mind has accepted what is thought to be truth even though it is not truth? Are we susceptible to this kind of brainwashing because we have followed religious systems rather than Jesus and His Holy Spirit?
Is it time for us as believers to REPROGRAM OUR MIND by reprogramming it to the mind of Christ?
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”. (Philippians 2:5)
When a believer incorporates, “God’s ‘Living’ Word” (Jesus)…into their mind and soul they are transformed. Our minds are “Changed to God’s Standard” and ‘not’ to the bondage of man’s religious biases. Our mind is changed from what is false to what is true. By feeding our mind on the LIVING WORD we will be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
This reprogramming of the mind is not instantaneous, it is a heart matter where we choose to tune our hearts as well as our minds (the gateway to our heart) to the Word of God and His teachings.
If our minds are programmed by untruths that we now see as truth, all the reading and studying of the written word will never renew our minds because what we read we interpret in light of the false programing of our minds that we have accepted as truth.
For this cause we do not faint; but though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. How? By allowing the Living Word through His Spirit to influence our understanding of the written word instead of previous programed data from the denominated man. (2Corinthians 4:16)
What are we feeding our minds with, the Living Word or man’s opinions about the written word?
Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing [dissecting] the “Word of Truth”. (2Timothy 2:15).
Jesus the word is the lens we need to understand the written word through.
We need a mind renewing. It will not happen overnight but will gradually replace some of that “Stinking Thinking” that we have been brainwashed by. Our thoughts will be ‘gradually’ replaced with “The Mind of Christ. One more verse I would like to share with you, Please? I have used this verse and its principles… to retool my very ‘own’ thinking processes. It is simply based on the Holy Word of God… and the ‘Principles’ found therein!
What will you do next? The choice is ours! We chose to or not to allow the Living Word to determine our understanding! This is how God reveals Himself to us! It is not through a hymn or Sunday-go-meetings. It is ‘when’ we His children, meet with Him, commune with Him, live in Him and view the written word through Him.
Let’s ask Him today, the LIVING WORD to reveal the written word so we are understanding its correct meaning so our living in Him will be fruitful!
