Fragmentation.
Many in the Body of Christ are now fragmented among the many sects which make up religion. Amid the mass confusion of man-made doctrines and ceremonies which is encompassed in religion, God's people are trying to find their place of rest in Him but, it has proven to be out of their reach. They are products of religion because they have been deceived (without realizing it) by Satan's most successful deception in human history, a deceit which has confused all of us at one time or another...where belonging to Christ means that we belong to religion. People, belonging to Christ Jesus has absolutely nothing to do with belonging to religion. We need to tear the veil which has for so long blurred our vision, and allow God to set us free from Satan's definition that life in Christ without religion is not a reality.
Jesus did not come to start a "religion"! He came to set men free from religious bondage. The vibrant acts faith depicted in the book of Acts is not a record of religious duties performed by religious people. Religion perverts the spiritual life which is so dominate in the book of Acts. The revealed truths found in the New Testament books can be found only in widely scattered bits within religion, and those bits of truth are usually mixed with heresies; the result being confusion for those who are searching for the real truth. The bewildering array of man-made doctrines and traditions within religion has had the effect of a frustrating and discouraging search for the TRUTH. Using religion as his principal tool, Satan has done a masterful job of quenching the thirst of God's people for an intimate personal relationship with Father God!
We CAN manifest unity in Christ if we will only stop listening to the separatism gospel of religious leaders and listen to the unifying Spirit of Christ instead!
Religion has never been of God. Religion is itself that corrupt thing which infiltrated the early Church and perverted its faith, just as the apostles forewarned the church (Acts 20:17- 35).
Some actually saw it taking place before they died; I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ (Gal.1:6-7). Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.(1Jn.2:18-19).
If you have been born into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit, God is your Father (because the Spirit is from Him), and Jesus is your Master (because He is the head of His body).
Religion is an unholy mixture of truth and falsehood, where carnal men rule over God's people. It is an ungodly place of man-induced confusion and false claims. That is why the religious system is an hindrance to the life of Christ manifested through His Body the "Church".
In the light of religion's sordid history and myriad of false doctrines, the wonder is not that there are skeptics, but that there are people who want to be a part of it!
Resist the temptation to fall in love with the mere pursuit of truth; rather, let the POSSESSION of TRUTH be your sincere desire.
The ironic things is, the religious world will turn away from you in disgust if you walk in TRUTH'S way of relationship and love it. Religions of the world are basically nothing but showy PURSUITS of self- righteousness, with no EXPERIENCE of receiving the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
But...JESUS CHRIST is TRUTH!!!!
